Welcome To Our Home Page

Mountain Heritage Cloggers is a community clogging team in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. While our heart belongs to Bluegrass, we also dance to a variety of music from Pop & Oldies to Country & Irish Step Dancing.  We are fortunate to have as our "home" the historic Crimora Community Center (formerly the Crimora Elementary School), located on Rt. 612, off Rt. 340 in Crimora.  We hold weekly practices...You are welcome to come by and visit us at any time.

• Six-week Class for Beginners--Children (ages 6+) and Adults (began August 12, 2008 5:30-6:00 pm at Crimora Community Center)
• BRCC Folk Arts Festival (September 13, 2008 from 12:15-12:45 and again 2:15-2:45 at BRCC in Weyers Cave)
• Sundance Showdown Competition (September 27, 2008 in Monterey)
• Apple Days Festival (October 4, 2008 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Willow Oak Plaza in Waynesboro)
• ACHF Annual World Championship (October 24-26, 2008 in Maggie Valley, NC)
• RU Clogging Event (November 8, 2008 at Radford University)
• Staunton Christmas Parade (December 1, 2008 in Staunton)
• Waynesboro Christmas Parade (December 6, 2008 in Waynesboro)
• MHC Clogging Family Dinner & Awards Program (December 9, 2008 at Crimora Community Center)

Class Schedule

Beginning September 2, classes will meet at the following times:

• 5:30-6:00 pm Beginners
• 6:00-6:45 pm Low Intermediate
• 6:45-7:30 pm Intermediate
• 7:30-8:15 pm Super Advanced/Competition Team
• 6:30-7:30 pm First Tuesday of each month - Clogging Parent Meeting
• 8:00-11:00 am First Saturday of each month - Competition Team
